Wedding Day Need to Know Timeline Please keep in mind that every wedding is unique and different; however from our experience over the years below tends to be the most common wedding day timeline. Make-up Artist arrives at preferred location (home, hotel, or wedding venue) at the previously scheduled time to tend to all makeup requirements for the bride and her bridal party. Make-up is usually scheduled following hair styling and prior to pre wedding photos. Allow 25-30 minutes per makeup application. You are in good hands - our experienced, reliable professionals provide exceptional service so you'll look and feel relaxed. Touch-ups for entire bridal party are always included. At this time, remaining balance must be paid in full. Please inform artist if you will be paying for services for attendants so we can collect from you discreetly What is required for touch-ups? A professional make-up application with quality products does not require a lot of touch ups throughout the day. We suggest that Brides and her attendants have their own pressed powder and lipstick/lipgloss. The make-up artist can recommend a specific shade at the time of consultation. Consultation Need to Know Consultation Appointments are offered for the Bride's comfort. It is a great way for the Artist and Bride to meet and create her personal wedding day make-up. The Bride will have a complete make-up application and be able to see how the make-up looks and lasts ahead of time, giving her plenty of time to make adjustments if necessary. This appointment typically takes one hour. The appointments are normally held at the Bride's home or specified location. It may also be an option to visit the Make-up Artist's location. Please plan to book your makeup consultation 2-3 months before your wedding. False lashes available ($15 extra, please inform artist in advance). What brand of Makeup do you use? The make-up artists mainly use MAC Cosmetics. Along with Smashbox, Yves St. Laurent and Bobby Brown. 2. What type of set up does the makeup artist require? Preferably a room with natural lighting (or bright lighting) and a table. The Artist will have her own make-up chair. A quiet, relaxing spot also helps to enjoy the experience. 3. Do you offer complimentary makeup application for flower girls? Yes we normally apply a very soft makeup for 2 flower girls under the age of 10. A fun way to keep them a part of the day. 4. Will you use any of my makeup? Should a special request be made by a client for the use of personal products due to a skin sensitivity or allergy, the artist will most certainly apply their products. 5. Where does the makeup application take place? We offer our services in-home or on location (such as a Hotel or wedding venue) within the Ottawa area. 6. Will you travel outside of Ottawa for an event? If your event is outside the Ottawa area, please inquire directly in order to determine if travel is possible and what the additional costs may be. 7. Will you travel to more than one location for one bridal group? We do not normally travel to separate locations however please inquire with your artist regarding locations. Should the artist agree to provide services at two separate locations within the city, this will be charged as two separate bookings according to the number of women at each location. Travel time, fuel, set up and clean up will be required at each location. This will be up to the artist’s discretion to accept this booking based on details. 8. Do you require a deposit to secure the event date? A 65$ deposit may be required in order to secure your booking. This will be discussed between you and your makeup artist. 9. Will I receive confirmation information for my records? Yes, once your event has been booked, your individual artist will send you a confirmation letter via email with event details for your review and confirmation. |
